The reinforcement is positioned in a mould that is then closed. The counter-mould is fitted with openings through which the resin is injected at low pressure (1 to 3 bar). The resin progressively impregnates the reinforcement. This process enables to reduce manufacturing costs.

This technology is well adapted for parts undergoing few stresses (lining). It is not very used in the structural parts manufacturing given the difficulties of implementation. EADS Composites Aquitaine already used this technology for structural applications thanks to its know-how in reinforcements implementation and injection operation.
