Filament winding is a fast, reliable and automated production technology. It is generally adapted to revolving or complex parts (with evolutive cross section, curved generatrix).

Filament winding enables the production of high performance composites (with a fiber content over 60%) with all types of fibers (E and R glass, aramid, carbon)
.
